New Build - Warkworth
Many thanks to Maycon Homes who have guided our move from the Bay of Plenty from the time the idea was first conceived.
Experiencing ill health so far away from our Auckland family the move was one we thought would not happen.
Rick designed our home to fit not only our section but a layout that works so well for us in our later years.
The build was trouble free and communication top notch.
Both Rick and Heidi guided us from a distance as we were in quarantine during lockdown.
The speed of the build with absolutely no compromise to quality has been impressive.
This is the third build we have undertaken in the past 12 years and can not fault it.
We absolutely recommend Maycon Homes Ltd for their honesty, professionalism and tight control of timelines within budget.

New Build - Snells Beach
In April of 2019 Rick and Heidi of Maycon Homes commenced the construction of our new home at Snells Beach, Warkworth.
This wasn’t the first interaction we had with Rick as many months earlier he introduced us to the Architect and assisted with the design for our build. This was a collaborative approach necessary to meet the requirements of our budget which was later validated by market consultation.
Once construction started, Rick and his team were on the job every day without any those annoying “we haven’t seen the builder for weeks” situations you hear about. As this was our first from scratch house build, we had a high interest in observing and photographing as many aspects of the build as possible. As a result, we visited the site often. Not once were we made to feel that our presence was unwanted. Rick would always drop what he was doing to come and greet us and discuss progress and answer what for him, although he never indicated it, were probably unnecessary and stupid questions.
Our contract included a milestone schedule and Rick and his team pretty much hit or bettered every date, such that our 215 square meter, split level home was completed in September 2019. A 5 month build!
On the financial side Rick and Heidi were very transparent with the build costs. This meant that the costs associated with the few minor changes we made regarding product and white goods, were clear and easily reconcilable to our budget.
In conclusion Rick and Heidi of Maycon Homes have produced for us, a beautiful, quality built home that we love and are very proud of. From the time that Rick became involved, the process couldn’t have been easier or more pleasurable. We would not hesitate to recommend Maycon Homes to anyone looking for a quality home at a fair price and should we decide to build again we will be going straight back to Rick and Heidi.

Maycon Homes Ltd were an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process of building our new home in Warkworth.
Having never built a house before, we felt a little daunted at the start, but thanks to Rick, Heidi and their amazing team, we soon realised there was nothing to worry about. From the moment they stepped on site, to the day they handed us the keys, every aspect of the build was handled brilliantly and the whole experience was totally seamless and stress-free.
Rick is knowledgeable, professional and an all-round great guy. He was always approachable, accommodating and patient with us and nothing was ever too much trouble. He worked with us to make changes along the way and offered plenty of expert advice to improve the design and keep costs down.

MAYCON Homes built our new 580 sq mtr home in Mangawhai.
The project was a substantial build which included a 140 sq mtr workshop/shed. Maycon carried out the project from slab preparation through to completion.
The build from start to finish took 6 months which was due to the well organised project management and a team of reliable subcontractors.
We would not hesitate to recommend Rick and his team to anyone considering to build their dream home as we are absolutely over the moon with our new home.

Top quality 4 bedroom home - Warkworth
We contracted Rick and Heidi May (Maycon Homes) to build a quality 4-bedroom home for us in fast developing Warkworth. We had discussions about the house plans and they accommodated our personal preferences with ease.
Rick gave us an estimated completion date, and even with Christmas holidays in between, delivered us a quality home on time. This reflected Rick’s project management skills and good relationship with his subcontractors.
The house also passed the final council inspection first time without any further work being required.

House & Land Package - Warkworth
Our first build has just been completed by Rick and Heidi and their team of awesome builders. We've renovated and completed a subdivision before but never built from scratch.
The team at Maycon made it a simple, stress-free process from start to finish. Communication and updates were regular and questions were always welcomed and answered in simple terms.
